Takarazuka is an all-female theater from Japan founded in 1913. It is made up of 5 troupes: Star, Moon, Cosmos, Flower, and Senka (Special/Superior). You can read more about the theater on the Takarazuka wiki made by fans here.

OSK Revue is another all-female theater founded in Osaka, Japan in the year 1922. They were one of the top "big 3" all female theater companies in Japan along with Takarazuka and SKD Revue (OSK's sister company). OSK has gone through many reformations, at one point having to dissolve due to losing their parent company's support. Through the efforts of volunteers (many of which were the actors themselves) the theater has reformed into a new company.

A revue show is a show which consists of song and dance performances that are tied together with a certain theme but does not have a plotline or story. There are however, some revues which do have a plotline (sometimes very loosely). Usually, a regular Takarazuka musical/play is presented in 2 acts (2 hours), but other times, a musical/play will only have 1 act so the remaining hour is filled in with a revue show.

NHK is a TV network in Japan that broadcasts Takarazuka shows on their channel. They do HD restorations of very old shows so an NHK recording means a very high quality recording.

It’s a reference to my favorite Takarazuka revue show

Shiraki Ayaka, Kuze Seika, Todoroki Yuu, Ooura Mizuki... and a million others!

Sky Stage is the Takarazuka cable television channel available in Japan. It broadcasts performances as well as regular programs featuring interviews with the actresses and behind-the-scenes information about the currently running shows.

Always feel free to suggest shows to translate. Although I do aural translations a lot, I'll be more willing to translate if you have the script. Also, please keep in mind I am only one person doing this as a hobby and I'm usually very busy!
Feel free to message me if you have requests or any other questions!
