This one goes out to all the aunts who send ~Good Morning~ jpegs on WhatsApp.

Not only is this conceptually a very auntie revue, especially with the song choices, but Todoroki Yuu and Tsukikage Hitomi are a very mature duo that is just… made for the aunties. It's really no wonder a lot of older zuka ladies swoon over this couple.

I love flowers, so anything flower themed is bound to pique my interest. And it just so happens that roses are my favorite, so of course I’d be obsessed with this revue. And I think it’s a really good rose revue! It’s a lovely homage to the queen of flowers and has a good selection of rose themed songs. It really goes out to all the romantics and flower lovers out there. The director, Okada Keiji is very well known for being a romantic revue director as he's made countless of them. There's so many wonderful performers here too. This revue also has a special place in my heart for being the show that first made me fall in love with Todoroki Yuu (my very first zuka love). And yes I 10000% recommend watching this while drinking rosé with your friends to have the ultimate auntie experience (if you’re of legal age!).

One of my favorite Todoroki Yuu performances of all time is her rendition of Jalousie in this show. Just jaw dropping.



There's also Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty (another thing I'm obsessed with) in here because of course, they had to, and it's very very pretty.



I had the help of the lyrics booklet from my album, but the thing is zuka booklets don’t always have lyrics for all the songs (for whatever reason?!) and trying to make out what Todoroki Yuu is singing sometimes can be very difficult with that REALLY deep (beautiful) voice of hers, so there is some guess work involved but hopefully I heard everything correctly.
